Bittmann studied classical violin in Graz and jazz violin in Paris.

He founded the Beefolk and Folksmilch, who have not only attracted large

and enthusiastic audiences on their tours through Europe and Asia but

also motivated a number of fantastic musicians to collaborate with them,

including Wolfgang Muthspiel, Klaus Paier, Gerald Preinfalk, and Ramona

Gillard, Valerie Sajdik and Helgi Jonsson. With his instruments, the violin

and mandola, Bittmann also underscores exactly what the Bonsai Garden

Orchestra is out to prove – that SIZE DOESN’T MATTER.
