Franz Schmuck studied jazz drums at the University of Music in Graz.
He builds, collects and plays rhythm instruments and sound objects
from all over the world. He has traveled to Africa and Bali to explore
the roots of percussion. Many fans of World Music know and
enjoy Franz Schmuck’s consistently colorful groove in diverse
musical contexts.
